Bhargavi is convinced that at two years old, a flight between Al-Khobar and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, as a birthday gift from her parents, marked the beginnings of her love of air travel. She loves everything (well, almost everything) about the flying experience from airport shopping to a tasty in-flight meal.
Born in India and having lived in Hyderabad, Madras, Montreal, Chicoutimi, Sterling, Toronto, Riyadh, Al-Khobar, Salalah and Muscat all before entering her teens certainly shaped her desire to see the world and explore new environments, people and places.
Fast forward to her 20’s in Toronto, where she currently resides. She started her career working as a publicist for a major Hollywood studio before moving on to consumer packaged goods marketing followed by a stint on television reporting on lifestyle stories and hosting a segment on Toronto’s history.
While in film publicity, Bhargavi worked closely with luxury hotels such as Four Seasons Hotel Toronto organizing multiple Toronto International Film Festivals. It was during this time that she developed her appreciation for great design, service and amenities. She is excited to share her thoughts with fellow luxury lovers at Fly See Stay.
A life-long vegetarian, Bhargavi is always on the look out for vegetarian options when travelling. She especially enjoys a good vegetarian meal in a place where she least expects it.
Bhargavi’s travel recently took on a new dimension with the birth of her son, Aditya. Travel with a child has its challenges and its rewards. She hopes to grow into the role of Luxury Mommy Blogger while sharing and learning from travellers around the world.
Known to balance her love of luxury travel with camping, a great day hike and skydiving, don’t be surprised to see some posts rocking a pair of muddy shoes and a back pack.
Her Loves: A sexy hotel bathroom. A great-smelling set of toiletries. An airplane seat with legroom. A secluded beach.
Her Travel Choices: Solo. Girlfriend Getaways. With her husband. With Aditya.
